Yoga Therapy and Special Conditions Training is at the Heart of Body Balance Yoga. Yoga is extremely effective in a therapeutic way when following precise, sound biomechanical principles of alignment. In this advanced program, you will study connective structural relationships to find the trails that lead to pain. Learn how to relieve pain from common injuries and special conditions, such as neck and shoulder pain, knee misalignments, sacral and lower back pain, sciatica and much more. We will see how precise alignment can actually begin the healing process and release chronic pain and tension. You will receive hands-on practical tools on how to help relieve pain. And as the baby boomer population continues through the decades of their lives, yoga therapy is increasing in demand. Your ability to see clearly and remain sensitive while backed by a wealth of accurate knowledge will position you to serve others well. This program emphasizes practical information that you can begin to use immediately in your yoga classes.

Accreditation (in progress)

As a long-standing member school of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), this program has been carefully designed to meet the new standards of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). We have submitted an application to IAYT for accreditation of our yoga therapy programO and our school's accreditation application is currently pending review. We will be able to provide information on our status after IAYT completes its review process.
